STO Building Group has an enduring and personal commitment to social responsibility. It is an essential part of our cultural DNA.
From the American Red Cross in Boston and New York, to restoring Saint Patrick’s CathedralGo to /st-patricks-cathedral-2/, to building the new headquarters for the American Bible SocietyGo to https://stobuildinggroup.com/projects/american-bible-society/ and the Kimmel CenterGo to /kimmel-center-phila-orchestra in Philadelphia, we’ve had the privilege of providing CM services to several of the world’s leading non-profits and cultural institutions.
We appreciate the unique challenges non-profits face. Non-profit construction is often subject to tight budgets and future fundraising to ensure its completion, as well as to obligations to donors and other constituents to produce quality work without extravagance or wastefulness. STO Building Group’s cost-effective practices address these issues beginning with preconstruction services that focus on value management we carefully evaluate sites for feasibility, collaborate closely with the design team to discover cost efficiencies, apply our buying power to procure materials at the best possible price, and optimize construction schedules.
In the construction phase, we thoroughly manage conditions in the field to circumvent the need for costly future fixes. We apply best practices and value engineering principles, and build to achieve LEED® certification. We have an industry-leading safety record as well. During post-construction, we stay with our clients from punch list stage through to final occupancy.
STO Building Group has a long track record of working for non-profits in a resourceful manner while meeting their utmost standards for transparency. Our background and diligence in this sector add up to projects completed efficiently and successfully, on time and on budget.
